So, I have decided to totally scrap the idea in the last post. Decided the website looks rubbish with massive long photo posts and they look much nicer on here. I have started a nice little section on the website called ‘park times’ which I will be adding to throughout the summer.

website is officially launched. it has a section for more portfolio focussed work but equally important is the personal section. this is where i will be posting photos from social outings and general hanging out. doing so however, asks what the function of this blog is going to become and i think i will use more to update on little bits of news rather than loads of photos. anyway to kick it all of this is causing serious distress at the moment. which versions of these images are better…

So much has been going on recently. I have been rushing around getting portfolios printed, going to interviews, crossing my fingers and setting up the home studio. I say setting up and I say home studio, its a black sheet and a flash with some home made softboxes and gridspots and things.
As you can see below its pretty basic, but its been really good fun and I’ve gone from hating the idea of taking photo’s in such a static environment to deciding I really enjoy it.
Here’s some of the first things that have come out of it. I think they’re alright but there’s a long way to go still.
James Murray also came down to do some test shots. The shoot went well until the flash stopped working about 5 minutes in, deciding it was not going to start working again until 5 minutes after James left. We still got a couple of nice photos. These are cropped to, which I never normally do but there really are reasons for this.
There’s lots of really exciting stuff is coming up in the next month or so. The beginnings of a website are starting to come together nicely. It’s going to be quite simple with an online portfolio and a blog accompanying it, the layout for which is starting to look really nice. I still have so many photos to edit and various projects which are all starting to come together, slowly making their way to the internet.
I’m going away for 2 weeks on Monday, both to work and have some fun. I’m going to Germany for the worlds biggest car show and then on to the French Alpzzz.
Lastly, here are some other photo’s from quite a while back now which never seemed to make it on here for some reason. peace.
It’s broken again
desperately trying to get uni applications off on timee. been having a lot of fun with digital recently, this is in part due to breaking the bessa yet again. it’s slightly more seriouss though this time, having ruined the rangefinder and smashed the viewfinder.
